The vibe
Once Julia's degenerative eye disease takes hold, Morales stops showing you other people's faces — you get shoulders, hands, voices, and the same helpless guesswork she is stuck with. Belén Rueda carries it. Critics loved the formal nerve; audiences found the last act silly, and they have a point.
